Chrisanne is a solutions-focused Program Manager with a passion for driving complex products from inception through launch and further growth. Her career has centered on technology startups, where she delivered innovative consumer products in the printing, telecom, wireless and remote-work communications spaces. Chris is excited to leverage her product lifecycle management expertise to launch products that can make a positive impact in people’s lives.
Jenn is a Certified Feldenkrais Method® Practitioner, completing Feldenkrais® trainings in the US and Europe, with a private bodywork and movement practice specializing in complex orthopedic and neurological issues for the past 23 years. Since 2011, Ms. Lee has helped develop, test and implement PLIÉ. As a Senior Instructor for the PLIÉ and Moving Together programs she has led online curriculum development and training for new instructors.
Allison has over thirty years of experience in dance, movement education and the healing arts. With a keen interest in kinesthetic learning, she completed the SemioPhysics Feldenkrais® Training in 2000, and has been practicing Feldenkrais Method® in Sonoma County ever since. Most recently, Allison worked with Dr. Barnes and her research team to test PLIÉ at adult day enters in the San Francisco Bay Area
LeeAnn is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® enjoying over 20 years in practice and volunteer teaching with seniors at the LifeTime Learning Center. She’s nationally known for customizing seated Awareness Through Movement® classes. Her focus on continuous improvement began with improving computer and business processes for GE. She’s also applied her expertise in changing habits to helping people quit smoking. She loves building hope and empowering her students through the “more brain, more gain” philosophy embedded in the Feldenkrais Method®.
Chris is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner. He completed his Feldenkrais® training in Berkeley, CA in 1997. With more than 28 years of experience in the study of movement and the healing arts, he has maintained a private practice as a hands-on practitioner and movement coach in Sonoma County. Dr. Barnes is a Professor of Psychiatry and Epidemiology & Biostatistics at UCSF and a Research Health Science Specialist at SFVA. She co-developed the PLIÉ programs and is leading the UCSF/SFVA research team.
Dr. Mehling is a Professor of Family and Community Medicine at UCSF and is an Integrative Medicine physician and core research faculty at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. He co-developed the PLIÉ programs and is a co-investigator on the UCSF/SFVA research team.
Dr. Chesney is a Professor Emerita-Active in the Department of Medicine at UCSF and core research faculty at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. She co-developed the PLIÉ programs and is a co-investigator on the UCSF/SFVA research team.
Dr. Sudore is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics at UCSF and a geriatrician at SFVA. She developed the PREPARE for your care program and is a co-investigator on the UCSF/SFVA research tea
Dr. Nicosia is Medical Anthropologist and Assistant Professor at the Institute for Health & Aging in the School of Nursing at UCSF. She is also a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and yoga therapist.
